AT WORK
Government and company mail systems are strict with outside email. Here is how to keep the newsletter out of junk, and a note you can forward to your IT team.
Outlook on the web and new Outlook. Settings, then Mail, then Junk email. Under Safe senders and domains, select Add, type mail.nerdrums.com and save.
Classic Outlook for Windows. Home, then Junk, then Junk E-mail Options. On the Safe Senders tab, select Add, type @mail.nerdrums.com and select OK.
If an issue lands in Junk, open it and choose Not junk. That teaches the filter too.
Many DoW and agency systems disable or rewrite links in outside email. That is your security team doing its job. Copy the address into your browser, or read the issue on the web. Every issue is in the archive at tots.nerdrums.com/archive.
Some government gateways hold or drop outside mail without telling the sender, so I can't see the problem from my end. Check your quarantine notices first, then reply to any issue and tell me what you see.
You can also subscribe with a personal address. You'll get the same issue in both places, and your work subscription stays as it is.
Tip of the Spear is a permission-based defense acquisition newsletter published by Nerdrums LLC of Park City, Utah. Readers sign up themselves and can unsubscribe from any issue.
